Hub member Prof Suen Yiu Tung, Associate Professor of the Gender Studies Programme of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, was invited to give a conference keynote address at University College London on conducting LGBTQ+ research in high-risk environments on 24th March 2023, to a very engaged audience of participants. This is the 7th time for Prof Suen to be invited as a conference keynote speaker since being an assistant professor at CUHK, having previously given keynote addresses in US at Harvard University and Yale University, in UK at University of Birmingham, University of Surrey, School of Oriental and African Studies, and in Asia at the Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. Prof Suen was awarded the Young Researcher Award 2020 of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
